Brides Across America {Event}

Left Coast Design Studio was featured as a vendor in the Brides Across America event this weekend at Little White Dress in downtown Bakersfield.  Many military brides were able to find and take home their dream wedding dresses for free.  Yeah, you read that correctly... free.  ;)

From the bridesacrossamerica.com website:  "Military Brides don't always get their dream wedding.   Some brides have to give up their wedding due to their fiancees getting deployed quickly.  In other cases, brides have a civil ceremony and then await years for their fiancee to return home to finally have their wedding day.  Heidi wants to make a difference by giving those in need the and help those troops that are fighting for our country get the wedding they deserve.  Brides Across America efforts is part of the Oprah Winfrey's Angel Network and teaming up with Smiles across the Miles charity".

Baby Sawyer, Toelke Family Part 1 {Nursery Sesh}

Little Soybean's nursery looks like it's straight out of a Land of Nod magazine.. very well designed - those Toelke folks have style!  Sawyer was so laid back, happy to hang out wherever we wanted to photograph him.  Would you believe he let me shoot for 90 minutes straight with no complaints?  What a great photobaby:)  This set is part 1 of 2 -- stay tuned for previews of the Toelke family session.

 

 

The Bartas {Maternity + Family}

Hooray!!  The beautiful Barta family will soon be a family of four!  Big sister Ava is so excited.. and little brother is going to need a lot of energy to keep up with Sis:)

Again I'm blessed with amazingly photogenic clients -- and what a downright gorgeous Mama-to-be, right?!  Love the styling she put together for her family as well -- pops of bold turquoise, green, and fuschia against crisp clean neutrals.  Summer looks done right, for sure!
