bryan haflich {6.7.12}

It is so refreshing to see a Mother-Son team that cares for each other so much.  I am crossing my fingers in hopes that I can have this kind of bond with my own son in 16 years.  They were so respectful towards each other the entire time, both had a great sense of humor, and they both had a hand in building a stress-free atmosphere while we shot for almost three hours.

...not to mention that they both completely trusted me while I set up his photographs in some pretty interesting parts of Bakersfield.  :)

Congrats to you Bryan, good luck on your Senior year!

friedman five {5.29.12}

These fab five are moving to NYC!  That really shouldn't come as a surprise though.
They are theatre folks after all :)  These fish are too big for this pond.

Sad this will be my last time photographing this family - we had our first session almost three years ago.  Good luck & best wishes, Friedmans!

andrew tibbetts {6.5.12}

I met Tibbetts almost five years ago when he was an 8th-to-9th grade summer transition student taking prep courses.  He was about the same size as he is today.

Being a lofty 5'4" myself, shooting a 6'4" athlete was a bit different from my day-to-day.  In hindsight, I should have brought a full size ladder.  :)

Congratulations on graduating man, Bakersfield College and Cal Poly will be lucky to have you.
